I thought you might like to see the trash can post-graffiti abatement:
The ARTS bus sign has not yet received any civic attention.
Looks like things are tough for ARTS bus signs elsewhere (south Raymond Ave. just north of Glenarm):
“Leave no surface clean” is the motto, I guess.

Argh, I’ve got a trash can across the street from me that I have called and reported two weeks in a row and thye haven’t come to clean it yet. And I was told if I do it, I could be arrested for vandalism. Go figure.

These things bug me, too, so I have this number in my cell phone as well. To notify the city of graffiti, call 626-744-7622. I haven’t used this one yet, so I don’t know about its method or efficiency. It’s worth a try if it’s bugging you.

Oh, that trash can was that way for months. I’m sure the message was received by those for whom it was intended. I’m bloggy come lately on that one.
Pasadena city politics is based on ‘low hanging fruit.’ Yeah, it’s cheap and easy. That’s the Pasadena Way. That’s how we roll.
One of these days, I’ll have actual content. My source will be someone who grew up here but couldn’t afford to stay.
